Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 measures 8.6 mm thick or 0.33 inch thick, which is thinner than iPad 2 which was officially released by Apple earlier this month. It also weighs 470g or 1.03 pounds and it has a Google Android Honeycomb and a custom Touchwiz UI. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 comes with a 1GHz dual core processor with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and capable of playing full HD video of 1080p.
Other specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 are 3 megapixel camera that can do 720p and a front facing camera for video calls.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 comes with two different sizes of WiFi models. I can say that the pricing of these two models are competitive. The 16 GB model will be retail for $469 and the 32 GB model which will retail for $ 569. There is no exact date of launch for this new Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
